Submitted by Barb on Wed, 09/09/2009 - 09:55. For Visitors- On August 31, the ERCB notified Lionhead Engineering that the downhole operations have been reviewed. The ERCB has indicated the well has been satisfactorily abandoned.
- On September 8, the well was tested for the presence of gas. No gas was detected in the well. Tests were also conducted to determine if any gas was seeping through the ground near the well head. No gas was detected. The tests were witnessed by representatives from the ERCB.

#1625: Royalite (Dingman) #2 Operations Update August 17, 2009
Submitted by Barb on Wed, 08/19/2009 - 12:41. For Visitors- The well has been cleaned out to the planned casing set depth. Casing will be installed August 18 and cemented to surface.
- A caliper log indicated multiple sections of old casing are in the well. This resulted in the difficulty of cleaning out the well.

- the seepage area gas has declined to no measurable flow at this time. The area continues to be monitored.

- Pieces of metal and shale are being cleaned out of the well.
- The seepage area gas has declined to no measurabel flow at this time. The area continues to be monitored.

- Re-run drill pipe to clean out debris in the well

#1620: Royalite (Dingman) #2 operations Update August 10, 2009
Submitted by Barb on Wed, 08/12/2009 - 09:52. For Visitors- The drill bit is at a depth of 543 meters. The suspecte old casing has been drilled through.
- Preparations are being made to remove the drill pipe and prepare the well for installing casing.
