Gas Plant Advisory - The TVGPRAP met May 16 and had a good presentation on how the bentonite berm and containment system, and the water treatment facility built to remove pollutants such as hydrocarbons in groundwater. The government website at:

There is now an ongoing search to bring to the Panel another environmental expert, even though the Panel had the services of Dr. W. Staudt during the most crucial part of evaluation of the Risk Assessment approach.

The Panel will present an Open House in Turner Valley on June 14th at the Flare 'n Derrick, from 3:00 - 7:00 PM, and hopes to get input and response from the public, by way of a survey which will be handed out, as well as online.

Website Update – stats unavailable Barb will have year-to-date
numbers for our next meeting. Barb did advise that the site was hacked into.
She was on the site several times and noticed it immediately. Repaired right away.

National Geopgraphic-Nominations for Crown of the Contienent Geotourism MapGuide was submitted by Nomination deadline. Photographs went by Canada Post and the rest of the nomination was submitted online.

Great Petroleum Race – Jim will be meeting with the coordinator on May 29th. They are asking if we would set up at Spruce Meadows. Jim has been trying to reach Jane Dusome for info and keys. The Flare and Derrick has been reserved for that day. Jim trying to track down the driving tour booklets.

New Business:

7Wonders of Canada – our submission was not accepted although it made the
deadline. Barb will try to resubmit

AGM – need to look at having the AGM in September with the new year end being June probably best would be the regular meeting date. Maureen will write an article for the Gazette with help editing regarding the TVOS and the AGM.

Jim has advised us that the sign for Dingman #2 has to be fixed after the wind storm.
He has asked Al Frick to put it back up as soon as possible. We will have to pay for
