 <title>Royalite (Dingman) #2 Operations Update September 8, 2009</title>

&lt;LI&gt;On August 31, the ERCB notified Lionhead Engineering that the downhole operations have been reviewed.  The ERCB has indicated the well has been satisfactorily abandoned.
&lt;LI&gt;On September 8, the well was tested for the presence of gas.  No gas was detected in the well.  Tests were also conducted to determine if any gas was seeping through the ground near the well head.  No gas was detected.  The tests were witnessed by representatives from the ERCB. </description>

&lt;LI&gt;The well has been cleaned out to the planned casing set depth.  &lt;a class="glossary_term" href="glossary#184"&gt;&lt;acronym title="Casing: the large diameter pipe cemented in the hole, such as surface casing, protective casing and production casing"&gt;Casing&lt;/acronym&gt;&lt;/a&gt; will be installed August 18 and cemented to surface.
&lt;LI&gt;A caliper log indicated multiple sections of old casing are in the well.  This resulted in the difficulty of cleaning out the well. </description>

Being the oldest and best preserved example of a gas processing plant in Canada, transforming a resource into an industry.  Located on the Sheep River in Turner Valley. </description>

Questions &amp; Answers: Question from Jim of Sharlene - what did the minister have to say yesterday - they promised money for the containment wall which will be started as soon as the water levels go down. $3 million.  Berm, fences, and stuff that is already there will be covered off on the relief fund.  There could be extra money for the light plant.  They are doing extra testing of the water. Jay Litke, Minister, environment, infrastructure, ab com development people were there. </description>
